Minister of Music
Ridge Road Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC is seeking a part-time music minister. We are a growing congregation that emphasizes intergenerational church, innovative and participatory worship, and community involvement. With a history of traditional worship, we are evolving to incorporate traditional, contemporary, and even secular music into our worship.
Job responsibilities include:
- Directing the choir
- Assisting the pastor with worship planning, especially the music
- Assisting with music for weddings, funerals, and other special services
- Maintaining our music library and overseeing the care of musical equipment
- Assisting with the overall ministry and mission of the church
Theological education or church experience is preferred. Proficiency playing a musical instrument and singing solos is also preferred.
